Within the Future Worlds Sci-fi Anthology you will find stories spun from the webs of current Future House bestselling books. Whether you are a fan of space dinosaurs, population annihilating bugs, interstellar magicians, man vs. distant planet scenarios, or colonization troubles, this anthology will have something galactic for you. Come get to know the Future House Publishing sci-fi authors.

Imaginative, well-thought out stories that will suck you in and take you for a ride. Reading a great anthology is like binge-watching Netflix. Just as one show ends, another one begins and keeps the momentum flowing.

What I liked:
Unique glimpses into possible future worlds. I especially liked Stasis Dreams by Josi Russell  and Spera Angelorum by Michael Darling.

What I didn't like:
Nothing! This is a fun read. Worth every moment of my time.

I give Future Worlds a solid five stars!

Stasis Dreams

After twenty-four years trapped in a nightmare en-route to the planet Minea, Taiver wakes up from stasis to find himself trapped in a malfunctioning pod, submerged in liquid, and unable to move. The ship’s lone caretaker, Hannah, tells Taiver that the sedatives no longer work on him, she can’t get him out of his stasis chamber, and Minea is still thirty years away. Taiver can’t even escape back to his nightmares, and his only companion may be the reason he had them in the first place.

Spera Angelorum

Harry Houdini is visiting the Celestial planet of Spera Angelorum, a realm of exalted Angels, for the first time. Putting on a escape show is still his greatest thrill. But to add to the danger, he's still doing it without the powers endowed to other post-mortal humans.

Horizon Alpha:
High Wire

D.W. Vogel

It’s been two hundred years since the Horizon Alpha ark left Earth to find a new home. Shiro spends his sixteenth birthday among the first humans in centuries to set foot on solid ground and smell fresh air. But Tau Ceti e is not a welcoming planet.

Blistering sunlight and punishingly strong gravity keep the older folks inside, and scouting crews come back with fewer numbers, telling rumors of shadowy monsters in the forest. It’s up to Shiro and the other young men to build defenses around the stranded humans’ camp. After all, no one has confirmed any predators larger than a man . . . yet.

Thank you for the compliment on my website. This review is shorter than most, but how do you individually review each story without it becoming a novella, right?

Cheers!
