What’s your home life like?

I live with my husband of thirty years and our dog. We have three adult children and four grandchildren who visit often. We live in a rambling historic villa that we are progressively restoring.

What genre(s) to you like to write? To read?

I will read most genres but my favourite has to be psychological thrillers. This is what I prefer to write also.

Why did you start writing?

I’ve always wanted to write. I have a fairly active imagination and will often come up with the most bizarre scenarios in my personal life, but I didn’t begin writing properly until around fifteen years ago.

What do you do when you’re not writing?

We often have our grandchildren staying with us, and as I’ve already mentioned, we are restoring our villa. But to be honest, most of my non-writing time is taken up with editing, proofreading, beta-reading and formatting for either myself or my author friends.

Where do you like to go when looking for a new book to read?

My Kindle. I have the biggest TBR pile that I’ll never get to the bottom of if I live to be two hundred.

At what point do you call it quits when reading a new book?

I rarely give up on a book, but if I don’t connect with the main character then I will be tempted to start a new book—life is too short to waste on bad books.

Are you independently or traditionally published?

Both – I started out self-publishing after having my fingers burned and tying myself to an agent for two years. But recently I published The Watcher and Impossible Dilemma through Bloodhound Books. They will also be publishing Maggie in October.

How many books/stories have you published so far?

Including novellas, Maggie will make it 15. Three of these are co-authored with a fellow writer.

What book/story are you currently promoting or working on?

Grave Injustice was released on the 15th August. This is the third in the Crime Files series.

What’s the elevator pitch?

James and Geri are investigating a series of unsolved cold cases. But little do they know something far more sinister is going on right next door.

How long have you been working on it?

I guess in total I’ve been working on it for three months.

When will it be available to buy? Where?

It is available on Amazon.
